Americoif of Detroit, Michigan's likeness to Intercoifure, the only non-profit hair organization of it's kind in the US. National and International guest artists along with the membership share their expertise in designing, cutting, and coloring hair. Americoif is a unique group of hairdressers - for hairdressers - without commercial sponsorship. It is a non-profit organization that consists of many of the finest and talented professional hairdressers in the Detroit Metropolitan area and Michigan. People of greatness in their own right, who are humble enough to search out and appreciate the enthusiasm generated by their colleagues. Dedicated people who are sensitive to the mercurial changes in the hair fashion and beauty industry and take these changes and translate them into the hair fashions of today. |
The members learn to maintain a higher standard of ethics in relation to each other as well as the public and to improve the professional standard of the hairdressing industry. They also learn how to present their work on stage and go on to take higher positions in the organization that take part in producing the six shows that are put on each year which include guest artists from all over the world.
